Take a look at the Rulon International Custom Wood Panel Grille that Ozburn-Hessey provided for the Middle Tennessee State University Science Facility. This installation inspires inhabitants and challenges the mind to think beyond what is expected and routine and into new territories. Using natural materials to emulate a sine wave, Ozburn-Hessey was able to show the beauty that can be found in nature and hint at the elegant order that exists all around us. Not only is the design inspirational to behold but in keeping with our commitment to sustainable practices nearly 93% of onsite generated waste was diverted from landfills. Our participation with Armstrong recycling program and our expert knowledge of LEED certification highlight our value of protecting our planet.
Flawless Functionality
The offices of BE Music & Entertainment demanded that we not only provide elegant form and aesthetic appeal, but also a highly usable and productive work environment. Through innovative material mixing we were able to create a space that boasts the warmth of wood and natural materials and the efficient functionality of modern technology. Since the space often hosts musical performances, acoustical panels were implemented as well. When the Country Music Hall of Fame set out to design a space worthy of the artists that it sought to honor, they turned to us to provide an unmistakably sophisticated yet down to earth solution. Using a time tested material such as sand and finish end grain Pine blocks we were able to achieve that goal. Pine and spruce are common in the construction of the acoustic guitar which has played a fundamental role in the development of country music.
